Barry A. Craig

Founder/ Overseer

Prophet B. A. Craig was born Jan. 12, 1971 to Hannah and William Craig in Galveston, Texas. His mother was a soloist who traveled the country singing for Jesus and his long-deceased father was a deacon in the church. At 14, he was witnessed to by one of his friends, who were previously saved at a tent revival in the town of Lecompte, Louisiana. At the age of 16, he got word about his calling through a prophet, Carl D. Cook, while living in Cheneyville, La., who became his mentor for 3 years and is now is his spiritual covering. In the year 1987, he and his family moved back to Beaumont, TX. after the passing of his step-father. He was living a backslidden life until the Lord grabbed ahold of him at 19. He joined the church his mother attended at the time and two years later on Jan 13th, 1990, (the day after his 21st birthday) he preached his 1st message and was licensed at Mt. Sinai MBC under the leadership of Pastor Tommy White. He served there faithfully as Sunday School Teacher and Associate Minister and was also a member of the choir. Soon after, the Lord brought him under the teachings of the late W. H. Ward at St. Luke MBC. He served in several other ministries and churches before going to serve in the US Navy for 2 years. While there, the Lord started to reveal to him a vision of what he would do when he got home. His calling into the prophetic came in 1996. He was reluctant to accept this due to the onslaught of false prophets at the time. But the Lord said to him that he will do through him like He did the prophets of old--draw people’s attention back to God and away from sin. He accepted this office in obedience and humility, along with the gifts that came with them. He functions in gifts of prophesy, healing and working of miracles. He is a dynamic teacher of the Word of God, rightly dividing the word of truth. He is a worshiper and is anointed to lead worship. He is married to his wife, Karen, of 16+ years, have 5 grown children and 7 grandchildren.

Karen A. Craig

She became a faithful member of then New Day Holiness-Orange, Tx, under the leadership of then Pastor McKinley August. When God called August to the newly-formed ministry, Cathedral of Praise Ministries, she was one of the founding members. Karen grow through the ranks from being an armour-bearer for Bishop August until October of 2008, when she joined her husband as 1st Lady of Cathedral of Praise Miracle Center. God started to bring her into the Prophetic Office around 2010 and is training her under the mentorship of her husband. She is an anointed Prayer Warrior, blessed with the Gift of Intercession, Faith and Healing.
